A man's body was found in a burning car in Baden on Saturday night in what investigators believe may be a suicide, said Prince George's County police.
County firefighters found the car engulfed in flames in the 15200 block of Baden Naylor Road around 11:15 p.m., said Cpl. Larry Johnson, spokesman for the Prince George's County Police Department.
After the fire was extinguished, a body was found inside in the driver's seat. The man, whose body was badly charred, has not yet been identified, said Officer Henry Tippett, a county police spokesman.
"It is still officially a death investigation, but after speaking to investigators, it looks like suicide," he said.
Tippett said it appears the man started the fire inside the vehicle, which ultimately caused his death.
The body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy, Johnson said.
