Here are some of the DVDs scheduled to be released Tuesday:
9: A creature (voiced by Elijah Wood) comes to life in a post-apocalyptic world. All he knows is that he has the number nine on his back. Soon he discovers eight other such creatures, all a little different, each who has their own quirks. These nine have to decide if they will live in hiding and fear, or risk their existence to save the world.

Jennifer's Body: The last week of the year seems to be the perfect time to release B-horror flicks. First up is the teen version, about a gorgeous high school cheerleader (Meagan Fox) who is possessed by a demon that needs to feast off the boys in their small Minnesota farming town. It's up to her best friend to save the day.
R; 102 minutes; Directed by Karyn Kusama
Paranormal Activity: A young couple moves into the typical starter home for a young family, but they soon discover it has some problems. The demons who are living there don't like to share their space.
R; 86 minutes; Directed by Oren Peli
A Perfect Getaway: A young couple decides to spend their honeymoon in Hawaii. While there, they take a hike and learn of a brutal murder of another newlywed couple. Soon they team up with two other couples out in the wilderness who are trying to escape whatever is hunting them. But the evidence quickly suggests one of the three couples may be the killers.
