Trail can be built without Purple LineWayne Phyillaier seems to think we should spend hundreds of millions of dollars to build the Purple Line so that the Capital Crescent Trail can be completed to Silver Spring (‘‘Purple Line would help trail expansion,” Dec. 12 letter). The trail to Silver Spring can be completed without building the Purple Line abutting the Capital Crescent Trail.
