Frederick County Public Schools is working to redistrict for the re-opening of Linganore High School in 2010.
I would like to urge all Oakdale community members to attend the last meeting, on Dec. 18, at New Market Middle wearing red to signify our united front to keep our community together at Oakdale, from elementary through high school.
The four options tear apart the community that the neighborhoods of Tulip Hill, Pinecliff, River Oaks, Winding Ridge, Spring Ridge, Greenview and every community in between has worked so hard to build since the opening of Oakdale elementary.
If you want to remain at your school, now is the time to act!
Let your voice be heard before the final recommendations make their way to the school board. Let them know that we want our community to stay together!
