Coach of the Year Arnold Tarzy Churchill, 4th year Coach of the Year for the fourth time in four seasons, has never failed to guide Bulldogs to sweep of the District 2 and 4A⁄3A state tournament titles. Team won state title in tournament-record low score this year. Alex Brown, Churchill, Junior Top county finisher (fourth) at state girls tournament, shooting 160. Ricardo Camacho, Watkins Mill, Senior Sank 35-foot birdie putt to give Wolverines county championship. Joey Goldstein, Churchill, Senior Second-best county regular-season stroke average, part of state title team. Tyler Jacobs, Magruder, Junior Tied for lowest-scoring non-Churchill player in county, with 38.0 stroke average. Mike Kamargo, Whitman, Junior Top-10 finisher in six regular-season matches, and at state tournament. Joe Kim, Walter Johnson, Senior Finished season in three-way tie for third in overall stroke average (38.0). Hilary Lawson, Magruder, Senior Shot 73 to win girls District 2 tournament by eight strokes. Karl Lindblad, Churchill, Senior Won District 2 tournament title, and a key part of Bulldogs’ championships. Connor Wielgus, Churchill, Junior Tied for third-best stroke average in county (38.0) and tied for second at states.
