Player of the year

Maria Fuccillo

Holy Cross, Sophomore

Ranked 51st nationally in United States Tennis Association’s Girls 16s, used on-court guile to rack up second-straight unbeaten season at singles and defend WCAC No. 1 singles tournament title.

Coach of the Year

Mary Lafratta

Walter Johnson, 1st year

Used knowledge and passion of sport to lead Wildcats to first Montgomery County Public Schools Division I and tournament titles in more than 11 years, toppling three-time defending champion Churchill.

Gabby Devlin

Holton-Arms Freshman

Fearless and crafty, Panthers’ No. 2 compiled 16-1 record and won No. 2 singles bracket to help Holton win second ISL tournament title in three years.

Liz Kaufman

Churchill Freshman

Power and determination led Bulldogs’ ace to undefeated regular season. Finished 13-2 with appearances in county and regional finals.

Tiffany Lin

Walter Johnson Sophomore

Produced second-consecutive undefeated season, including No. 2 singles title to help Wildcats win county tournament for first time in more than a decade.

Lorne McManigle

Stone Ridge Senior

Smarts and reliable all-court game led Gators’ No. 1 to 10-1 record, including singles title at season-ending ISL tournament.

Lauren Wolman

Walter Johnson Junior

Steady groundstrokes and versatility helped Wildcats’ No. 1 to 17-1 record, including first county and region titles and berth at state tournament next spring.
