Man killed near Capitol Heights

Prince George’s County Police are investigating a homicide that occurred on Dec. 7 in unincorporated Capitol Heights.

At approximately 8:20 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Unicorn Place for a report of a shooting. Upon arriving, they found a man with a gunshot to the upper body.

The victim, Anthony Allen Wrenn, 27 of the 200 block of Unicorn Place, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators believe the victim was standing outside his residence when he was approached and shot.

‘‘We believe there was more than one suspect in this case,” said Cpl. Clinton Copeland, police spokesperson.

As of press time, there is no detailed description of the suspects.
