CoStar Group of Bethesda named Norm Miller vice president of analytics. Previously, Miller was professor and director of academic programs for the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate at the University of San Diego.
Jason Fisher, a lawyer with Lerch, Early & Brewer of Bethesda, was named president of the Washington metropolitan chapter of the Community Associations Institute for 2009-2010.
CapitalSource of Chevy Chase promoted Steven A. Museles and James J. Pieczynski to co-CEOs and directors, effective Jan. 1. Also, founder and current CEO John K. Delaney was named executive chairman, a new position. Museles is executive vice president and chief legal officer; Pieczynski is president of the health care real estate business.

ASRC Management Services of Greenbelt named Gary Newgaard senior vice president of corporate development. Previously, Newgaard was president of Paragon Systems and co-founded Intelligent Enterprise Solutions.

Manekin of Columbia named James S. Leanos a vice president in its brokerage division. Previously, he was associate broker at Jackson Cross Partners/Oncor International. Earlier, he worked with CB Commercial Real Estate Group, Casey & Associates/Oncor International, KLNB and Manekin. He also owned and operated a real estate firm.
Integral Systems of Columbia hired Luiz Barbosa to handle sales and marketing in Latin America for its wholly owned subsidiary, Newpoint Technologies of Manchester, N.H. Previously, Barbosa worked for Sys Technologies.
Constellation Energy Group of Baltimore promoted Bryan P. Wright to chief accounting officer. Wright, 43, is also vice president and controller. He succeeds Reese K. Feuerman, who was named vice president, finance and will continue as treasurer.
Merkle of Columbia named Christine Baskin vice president, market research, leading its new market research practice. Previously, Baskin worked for BioVid, TNS Healthcare, Yankelovich and Knowledge Networks.
St. John Properties of Baltimore named Dave Lazas a development manager. Previously, Lazas was a developer with General Growth Properties.
J. Allan Riorda, a principal with NAI KLNB in Columbia, was named mid-Atlantic regional director for the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.
Danielle Thron-Treiber, a financial educator with SECU credit union of Linthicum, was named 2009 Financial Educator of the Year by the Institute for Financial Literacy.
Leland C. Pillsbury, co-chairman and CEO of Thayer Lodging Group of Annapolis, won the 2010 International Society of Hospitality Consultants Pioneer Award.
College of Notre Dame of Maryland in Baltimore named Clare McGrath-Merkle director of corporate, foundation and government relations. Previously, she was annual fund coordinator at Catholic University's Columbus School of Law; grants manager for the Maryland Zoo; development associate for Clinic; corporate and foundation relations manager for Historic Annapolis Foundation; and director of institutional grants at St. Mary's College of Maryland.
St. Agnes Hospital of Baltimore named Jaroslaw Hepel of Lutherville a radiation oncologist.
