It's getting chilly outside, but the Music Center at Strathmore will be hot tonight and Saturday night. Beginning at 8 p.m., "Ballroom with a Twist" will feature everything from hip-hop to ballet and everything in between. The show is directed by Louis van Amstel of "Dancing with the Stars" fame. As Karen Schafer's Gazette feature implies, half the battle for the performers is keeping their wardrobes intact . . . This weekend, two shows are dedicated to the music of Eastern Europe. At Montgomery College's Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center tonight, the Virsky Ukrainian National Dance Company will bust out traditional folk moves from the former Soviet nation. In Rockville Saturday evening, The Washington Balalaika Society will present an evening of Russian folk tunes. The 60-member WBS Orchestra also will throw in a couple of classical numbers, too. Basso vocalist Anatoli Panchoshny will join the group on stage beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Fitzgerald Theatre . . . For something more dramatic, try opening weekend of "Camelot" at the Olney Theatre Center. The classic Lerner and Loewe musical based on the King Arthur legend should be impressive on Olney's Main Stage. Performances run tonight and Saturday night with matinees Saturday and Sunday . . . "2012" is dominating at the box office, but there are plenty of smaller films to seek out. "Fantastic Mr. Fox" is a charming and clever animated take on the Roald Dahl classic. The heartbreaking "Precious" is now playing all over the metro area as well. For foreign film fans, "Coco Before Chanel" is a gorgeous French language take on the fashion icon's early life.
