The 13U Maryland Cardinals Baseball Club has a few openings for its 2009 roster.
The Cardinals are looking for talented players with speed and a competitive drive. They offer a comprehensive winter baseball training program feature a challenging spring schedule that includes several high-profile tournaments.

The Williamsport American legion will host the 2008 Blast with Sifu/Guro Cass Magada Martial Arts seminar on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 22 and 23.
The seminar will feature hands on instruction in three types of martial arts; Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts, and Indonesian Martial Arts.

The Frederick Stars Lacrosse Club will hold tryouts for its boys and girls summer/fall teams on Jan. 11, 2009 at the Mount St. Mary's University Fieldhouse.
Tryouts for boys will run from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. for boys in the U13, 15 and 16 age groups and for girls who graduate from high school from 2010 through 2016.
