The Knoxville, Tenn.-based band Christabel and The Jons will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at Café Nola, 4 E. Patrick St., Frederick.
The band is currently on tour promoting their new release "Custom Made for You," its second full length CD, following 2005's "Lomarkve and Circumstances."
The band's music blends multiple musical styles from gypsy jazz to country blues. Lead singer Christa DeCicco enchants audiences with her expressive lyrical style and laid back, sultry stage performance. The band is always outfitted in vintage costumes that give the performance a torch singer/speakeasy atmosphere. Recently, the band played one of the industry's most coveted music festivals: The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.
