A New Carrollton man found in a Wheaton road early this morning was stabbed to death, according to the Medical Examiner's Office in Baltimore.
Montgomery County police could not confirm how Samuel Dejesus Chacon, 34, of the 8300 block of Verona Drive in New Carrollton died, but have ruled his death a homicide. They have not located a suspect, said Lucille Baur, a police spokeswoman.
A female driver found Chacon lying unconscious in the road near the 2500 block of Newton Street two minutes after midnight, according to a police press release. Police deemed his death suspicious because it did not appear to be of natural causes and there was no sign of a traffic collision, Bauer said.
