The recent article about impending development in Prince George's gives one hope that our county will no longer be the ignored stepchild of the Washington area ("Builders left on edge," Nov. 7 Business Gazette).

But I have to ask, "Why no casino, especially somewhere like National Harbor?" So close to Virginia and the District, it would seem a natural location. If opponents would just visit (online or in-person) the Turning Stone casino in Oneida, N.Y., they would see all gambling does not have to look like gaudy, congested Las Vegas.
