Woman pleads guilty to trafficking prostitutes in Prince George’s, Montgomery Monday, Nov. 13, 2006 A Gaithersburg woman pleaded guilty Monday to conspiring to transport hundreds of prostitutes to Prince George’s and Montgomery counties.
Olinda Aparicio, 65, pleaded guilty to the charges after her daughter, Elsy Aparicio, 30, also of Gaithersburg, pleaded guilty to the same charges Nov. 3.
The co-conspirators in the case scheduled women to work in at least 15 locations, from Gaithersburg to Langley Park to Wheaton, according to the plea agreement.
Most of the women were illegal aliens brought in from New York and New Jersey to work a week at a time.
The defendants face a maximum sentence of five years in prison on the prostitution charges. Elsy Aparicio is also charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering and faces a maximum of 20 years in prison on those charges.
Sentencing is set for Jan. 31 for Olinda Aparicio, and Jan. 17 for Elsy Aparicio.
