Prince George's County residents who take time to neatly sort their recycling could earn a prize from recycling employees this month.
As part of November's America Recycles Day, the Prince George's County's Department of Environmental Resources is hosting a "Recycle Right" contest through Nov. 30.
On randomly selected blocks in each of the nine council districts, judges will pick winners who have properly sorted and placed recycling at their curbs. Department officials did not reveal what prizes are being offered.
Judges will look for properly sorted bins placed with the lift bars facing the curb on their proper pickup days. Contact the county recycling team at 301-883-5045.
