County police reports

The following is a summary of incidents in the upcounty to which the Montgomery County Police responded recently. The words "arrested" and "charged" do not imply guilt.
Aggravated assault
- On Oct. 22 at 10:20 p.m. in the 19400 block of Archdale Road in Germantown. The victim was intoxicated and went to visit the female suspect. The victim attempted to initiate sexual contact with the suspect when she shoved the victim and stabbed him in the hand with a knife. The suspect was described as a Hispanic female, 46, from Germantown.
- On Oct. 20 at 2:15 a.m. in the 26600 block of Long Corner Road in Damascus. The victim and the suspect, an acquaintance, were arguing when the suspect stabbed the victim with a knife several times. Suspect arrested at the scene.
- On Oct. 26 at 11:24 p.m.in the 19000 block of Grotto Lane in Germantown. The victim and a relative were arguing when the suspect punched the victim, obtained a knife from the kitchen and attempted to stab him. The 16-year-old male suspect from Germantown was arrested at the scene.
Armed robbery
- On Oct. 25 at 7:25 p.m. at Observation Drive and Ridge Road in Germantown. The victim was walking when the he was suddenly struck in the face by Suspect No. 1. Suspect No. 2 then grabbed the victim by the shirt while Suspect No. 3 displayed a handgun. The victim turned over his property and the suspects fled.
- On Oct. 24 between 1:30 a.m. and 3:53 a.m. at Wisteria Drive and Wisteria Road in Germantown. The victim had left La Mexicana Bar when two vehicles stopped next to him. The suspects exited the vehicles and one suspect displayed a handgun and took his property. Suspect No. 1 was described as a black male, 27, 6 feet tall, 168 pounds, bald. Suspect No. 2 was described as a black male, 27. Suspect No. 3 was described as a Hispanic male, 27.
Commercial robbery
- On Oct. 27 at 9:05 p.m. at Dunkin Donuts, 12915 Wisteria Drive in Germantown. Attempt only. The suspect entered the store, demanded money and threatened to harm the clerk.
- On Oct. 27 between 10:44 and 10:45 a.m. at 7-11, 12861 Clopper Road in Germantown. The suspect entered the convenience store and stood next to a customer in line. As the customer placed $12 on the counter, the suspect snatched the money, displayed a knife and fled. The suspect was described as a white male, 20-25, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall, 150-165 pounds, armed with a knife.
Strong-arm robbery
- On Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the 19600 block of Gunners Branch Road in Germantown. The juvenile male victim was walking when the suspects knocked the victim to the ground and demanded property. The suspects obtained the victim's backpack and fled. Suspect No. 1 was described as a black male, 16. Suspect No. 2 was described only as a black male.
Vehicle theft
- 18400 block of Fable Drive in Boyds, overnight between Oct. 24 and Oct. 25. Suspects tampered with the ignition but were unable to start the vehicle.
- 13900 block of Coachmans Circle in Germantown, overnight between Oct. 23 and Oct. 24. 2007 Nissan Murano stolen.
- 19000 block of Marksburg Court in Germantown, overnight between Oct. 25 and Oct. 26. 1999 Plymouth Voyager stolen.
- 18000 block of Cottage Garden Drive in Germantown, overnight between Oct. 25 and Oct. 26. Pried vehicle, attempted to disable ignition of a 1999 Plymouth Voyager.
Vehicle larceny
- 19600 block of Galway Bay Circle in Germantown, at 5:03 a.m. on Oct. 21. Officers were able to locate the suspect a short distance away. A search of the suspect found a satellite radio which was taken from a vehicle in the parking lot. A 24-year-old male, unknown address, was arrested.
- 13200 block of Country Ridge Drive in Germantown, at 2 a.m. on Oct. 25. The victim heard the sound of glass breaking and looked out the window to see the suspect in the victim's vehicle. A GPS was taken. The suspect was described as a black male, 16-18, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 140 pounds.
Commercial burglary
- Damascus Cedar Grove Automotive, 10001 Lewis Drive in Damascus, between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. on Oct. 25. Forced entry, property taken.
- The Tobacco Shack, 12615 Wisteria Drive in Germantown, between 12:50 a.m. and 1:02 a.m. on Oct. 21. Forced entry, property reported missing.
- Boyds Market, 15110 Barnesville Road in Barnesville, at 9:45 a.m. on Oct. 22. Forced entry, property taken.
Residential burglary
- 24800 block of Cutsail Drive in Damascus, between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Oct. 22. The victim returned home to find a rear door damaged, Attempt only, nothing taken.
- 13100 block of Millhaven Place in Germantown, between 7:20 a.m. and 7:56 a.m. on Oct. 23. No signs of forced entry, property reported missing.
