Lanham man found shot dead

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place on the 6100 block of Main Street in Lanham on Nov. 4.

Michael Lawrence Broderick, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds at approximately 11:45 p.m.

Though no motive or suspects have been found, investigators are looking into the possibility that Broderick may have been involved in a physical altercation before he was shot.

An undisclosed cash reward is available along with $25,000 from County Police Chief Melvin High for tips leading to the arrest and indictment of a suspect.
