Prince George's County police are investigating the homicide of a Washington, D.C., man whose body was found Saturday afternoon in a vehicle on the 13000 block of Larchdale Road in Laurel.
Officers responded to the scene at 3:41 p.m. after a resident called about a parked vehicle on the road. Upon arrival, police found Emanuel William Palmer, 28, suffering from a gunshot wound. Palmer was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cpl. Clinton Copeland of the Prince George's County Police Department said Tuesday that officials do not yet know Palmer's time of death or why he was in Laurel.
"At this point, it's still under investigation. [We're] still looking for suspects and a motive," Copeland said.
