The Bernard Brown Community Center is a place of hope for the north end of Frederick, and I support the effort to help the people in the area.
But it seems to me many of the people in the project are thanking the wrong people. Both Elin Ross and Kevin Lollar heap praises on the generosity and giving back to the city by the Housing Authority.
They should never forget or take for granted that it is actually the hard-working taxpayer who wakes up early to go and work and labor and be required to pay their taxes under threat of imprisonment that has actually made it all possible.
