The Tuesday death of a 32-year-old Brentwood man has been ruled a suicide, according to Prince George's County police.
At about 8:34 a.m., police responded to a call from a relative to check on the welfare of a person in a home in the 3700 block of Volta Avenue, county police spokesman Clinton Copeland said.
Police aren't releasing the man's name or details on how he died, police spokesman Mike Rodriguez said.
"We normally don't disclose that information on suicides," Rodriguez said.
Lt. Cesar Pacheco visited the Brentwood Town Council meeting Tuesday night.
"There were no signs of foul play," he said. "It seems to be an isolated incident."
The Brentwood Town Council voted Oct. 13 to revive a municipal police force after an anti-crime committee report recommended the creation of a 24-hour town police force. The committee was created to tackle crime in the wake of a 2007 double homicide.
