The Riverdale Baptist School football team improved to 5-5 with a 20-7 victory at St. Mary's Ryken on Friday night.
The game was tied 7-7 at halftime, as Brian Burns had a 4-yard touchdown run in the second quarter for the Crusaders. Burns scored again on a 7-yard run in the third quarter. And in the fourth quarter, Morgan Taylor broke an 84-yard touchdown run.
Taylor carried 10 times for 123 yards, while Donte Cotton added 15 carries for 120 yards. Wide receiver Devin Goode had three catches for 93 yards.
The Crusaders have won three of their last four and have allowed just 39 points in those four games.
