The 4 County Lions Club hosted its second annual Best Basket Bingo Ever on Oct. 10. According to a press release from the group, young and old participants enjoyed hours of fun, food and prizes including an abundance of Longaberger baskets stuffed with gifts, homemade quilts and other prizes.
The event, according to the release, was also a very successful fundraiser for the group. The Lions will use a portion of the proceeds to send a child to camp and continue other community projects.
The 4 County Lions Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Kozy Corner Pub, 11 Ridgeville Blvd., Mount Airy. Social starts at 5:30 p.m. and a complimentary dinner is served at the start of the meeting at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome.
