Information security company SafeNet of Baltimore opened an office in Dubai.
Ameritox of Baltimore, which provides pain medication monitoring systems, plans to open its second laboratory facility, in Greensboro, N.C., next year, with 228 employees.
SpotCrime of Baltimore was selected by Nexstar Broadcasting Group of Irving, Texas, to provide local crime data to KAMR, its NBC television affiliate in Amarillo, Texas.
Ciena Corp. of Linthicum was selected by Cable & Wireless Panama to provide its network platform.
Papa Bello Enterprises of Baltimore plans to acquire Pastore's of Rosedale Inc. of Baltimore, a restaurant, deli and bakery chain with anticipated revenues of $1.4 million in fiscal 2009. Papa Bello plans to market a new franchise, Pastore's Italian Bistro & Pizzeria, nationwide.
Accord Restoration of Baltimore opened a regional office in Harrisburg, Pa.
