Police have arrested a Chillum man in the Friday night stabbing death of his son, according to authorities.
Ernest Kurt Bell, 62, has been charged with second degree murder in the death of his son, Keith Aaron Bell, 34, according to Prince George's County Police.
At about 10:22 p.m. on Friday, police responded to a call of a cutting in the 4900 block of Avondale Road in Chillum, where the father and son had been in an argument that led to the stabbing, said police spokesman Larry Johnson said.
Keith Aaron Bell was transported to a local hospital where he died, according to police.
The father and son both lived at the residence. There is a history of police responding to domestic-violence-related incidents at that address, Johnson added.
Ernest Bell is being held at the Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro.
