Beginning this week, we are consolidating some of our editions. Readers will continue to enjoy the same amount of extremely local coverage, but now the newspapers also will include additional stories from some nearby communities. Our in-depth coverage of neighborhood events, municipal meetings, local schools and interesting residents will remain.

Going forward, the College Park, Greenbelt, Hyattsville and Port Towns communities will unite in one edition. Landover, Lanham, Largo and New Carrollton areas will combine; and Clinton, Fort Washington and Upper Marlboro will be consolidated into one edition.

The Gazette-Star values our readers and will continue to provide the in-depth coverage unavailable elsewhere in Prince George's County.
