Sophia May, 2, of Wheaton plays with a potential toy as one of a swarm of shoppers scouring tables at the first Flea Market in the Park in Wheaton Regional Park, held in June this year. The wildly successful flea market continued until October but is closed for the winter. However, on Nov. 1 a new flea market will open up in downtown Wheaton near the Triangle. Organizers say this market will have more of an emphasis on crafts, antiques and furniture and will draw customers to nearby shops and the farmer's market.
