The following is a summary of incidents in Rockville to which the Montgomery County Police responded recently. The words ‘‘arrested” and ‘‘charged” do not imply guilt.

Armed robbery

*On Sept. 26: At 7 p.m., a 24-year-old Rockville man was at home in the 12900 block of Churchill Ridge Circle when four suspects burst into his home when he answered the door. Two of the suspects were recognized by the victim. One of the suspects displayed a handgun. They assaulted the victim and took personal property. The suspects then fled the scene.

The identities of Suspects No. 1 and No. 2 are known and the investigation is continuing. Suspects No. 3 and No. 4 were described as white males, 22-25.

*On Sept. 22: At 11:14 p.m., the 7-Eleven Convenience store, located at 6848 Olney-Laytonsville Road in Olney was robbed. A lone suspect entered the store and displayed a black handgun and demanded money. The employee removed cash from the register and the suspect fled the store. The suspect was described as a black male, 15-18, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, 140-150 pounds, bald, black hooded jacket, blue bandana, blue jeans, black shoes.

*On Sept. 22: At 12:08 p.m., an employee of the 7-Eleven store in Rockville went to the parking lot of the Bank of America on Redland Road in Rockville to make a deposit. She parked her vehicle and was approached by a suspect who put a gun to her head and demanded the deposit. The victim handed it over. The suspect then ran off heading west on Redland Road. The suspect was described as a black male, 20-25, 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, black hat, black jacket, black pants.


*On Sept. 22: At approximately 2:50 p.m., the 47-year-old male victim from Suitland was at a construction site at the corner of Bou Avenue and Chapman Avenue in Rockville when a male suspect produced a knife and poked it at him. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 30, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 190 pounds.

Larceny arrest

*On Sept. 25: At 10:50 a.m., the 48-year-old male victim from Rockville, was outside mowing in the1200 block of First Terrace in Rockville and discovered that his cell phone, tools and a backpack blower had been taken from his truck. The suspect responsible, Keith Augustine, 18, of the 17400 block of Hoskinson Road in Rockville was arrested.

Burglary arrest

*On Sept. 23: At approximately 3:31 a.m. in the 7500 block of Hackamore Drive in Potomac the suspect was seen at the rear of the residence attempting to open the door. The suspect was still in the vicinity when officers arrived. Terrence Eugene Hawkins, 23, of the 400 block of West Diamond Avenue in Gaithersburg was arrested.

Commercial burglary

*Lourie Center, 12301 block of Academy Way in Rockville, between 6 p.m. on Sept. 12 and 6:40 a.m. on Sept. 13. Forced entry; property taken.

*Shady Grove Presbyterian Church, 16911 Redland Road in Derwood, between 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 21 and 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 22. Forced entry; property taken.

*Semmes & Co., 10220 River Road in Potomac, between 11 p.m. on Sept. 15 and 8 a.m. on Sept. 18. Forced entry; nothing taken.

*Tina’s Beauty Supply Inc., 15108 Frederick Road in Rockville, at 2:45 a.m. on Sept. 19. Forced entry; nothing taken.

*Maryland Shuttle Auto Garage, 12221 Parklawn Drive in Rockville, between 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 19 and 8 a.m. on Sept. 20. No forced entry; tools taken.

Residential burglary

*12600 block of Tobytown Drive in Potomac, between 6 p.m. on Sept. 24 and 6 a.m. on Sept. 25. Forced entry; no property taken.

*7800 block of Derwood Road in Derwood, between 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 24 and 7 a.m. on Sept. 25. Forced entry; property taken.
