The football game between Our Lady of Good Counsel and DeMatha is always a highly anticipated sporting event of the fall, but this year's game on Thursday brings an added element of excitement because it will be broadcast live on ESPN2.

Over the summer, ESPN approached Our Lady of Good Counsel High School football coach Bob Milloy to ask if the school would be interested in hosting a live broadcast of its game against rival DeMatha High School of Hyattsville.

Bleachers from the baseball and softball fields have been moved to the stadium to supplement the bleachers already there.

Anticipating a tremendously large crowd, organizers sold tickets prior to the event and capped sales at 4,000.

"The logistics of this event has had its challenges, but we reached out to the Olney community for their assistance," said school spokeswoman Stephanie Wilson.
