I am not a Sen. Barack Obama supporter but I will vote for him because I cannot vote for Sen. John McCain.
I think a McCain Presidency will mean four or eight more years of failed Bush domestic and international policies. But the main reason I cannot support McCain is the impact he could have on the Supreme Court.
Conservatives have a 5-4 majority on the court. Three of the liberal justices will most likely retire soon after the election. A President McCain would most certainly appoint liberals to replace them and this would seriously affect the justice system in this country for many years.
I believe a conservative court would outlaw abortions. I am opposed to abortions but outlawing them would, I think, be contrary to the wishes of most Americans.
