Two men arrested for knifepoint robbery

Two men were arrested Friday for the armed robbery of the mother of one of the suspects, according to Bowie police reports.
The woman, a tour bus driver, was returning from a bus trip and was parked at the Comfort Inn located at 4600 Mitchellville Road in Bowie when two men entered the bus, held a knife to her throat and demanded the money she had just collected.
Police were able to quickly locate Trorry McLean McKoy, 35, of the 4000 block of Shepherd Street in Brentwood, and Otto Alexander Watson, 25, of the 4000 block of 33rd Street in Mount Rainier, and placed them under arrest. Police reports state the victim is the mother of one of the men and that he is a known drug addict. The Prince George's County Police Robbery Suppression Team is handling the investigation. McKoy is charged with robbery and first-degree assault, and Watson is charged with robbery, according to court documents.
Attempted robbery
on 13th Street
Police are still searching for two men who attempted to hold up a juvenile at gunpoint in Old Town Bowie on Saturday. The 17-year-old boy was walking along 13th Street in Bowie when two men pulled up beside him in a green Ford pickup truck and pointed a gun at him. The teen, from Bowie, ran to a nearby house and called the police.
