The city will not collect refuse or recycling. Residents scheduled for collection on that day should hold their refuse and recycling until their next regular collection day. Those participating in the Refuse and Recycling Pilot Program, who will miss their weekly pick-up on Monday, should place their refuse and recycling carts and yard waste out on Sept. 5. Call the Rockville’s Public Works refuse line at 240-314-8568 for more information.
