Rosie Little

Rosie Ellen Little, 82, of Damascus died Aug. 23, 2007.

Born Feb. 18, 1925, in Cardova, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Albert D. and Mary M. Alder Rudd.

She was the wife of the late Clifford J. Little, who died in 1990.

Mrs. Little was the head cashier at the National Institute of Standards and Technology for more than 30 years. She was a member of Baptist View Church in Harford County and attended Damascus Wesleyan Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Summers of Damascus; three sisters, Noami Ball, Mildred Taylor and husband Chig, and Wanda Karnasiewicz and husband Walter; two brothers, Raymond Rudd and wife Mary Ann and Robert Rudd and wife Elerie; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Monk and Audrey Blake and husband Ellery; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry D. Little, who died in 1989, and a son-in-law, Oscar Summers, who died in 2006.

A funeral service was held Saturday at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home in Damascus. Burial will be private in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick.
