Police report

The following is a summary of incidents in the upcounty to which the Montgomery County Police responded recently. The words ‘‘arrested” and ‘‘charged” do not imply guilt.

Vehicle larceny

*Between Aug. 9 and Aug. 10 there were two thefts from vehicles in the Brandermill community in Germantown. The vehicle windows were broken, property taken.

*Between Aug. 10 and Aug. 11 there were two thefts from vehicles on Brewers Tavern Way. Both vehicles were searched. Property was taken from one vehicle.

*10200 block of Damascus Manor Road between Aug. 13 at 11:55 p.m. and Aug. 14 at 12:05 am. The suspect was described as a black male, 28-33, 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall, 200-230 pounds.

13700 block of Monarch Vista Drive in Brownstown Estates between Aug. 7 and Aug. 8. Windows were broken in three vehicles, property taken.

*17500 block of Carlson Farm Court in Brownstown Estates, between Aug. 7 and Aug. 8. Windows were broken, property taken.

*18300 block of Allspice Drive between 6 p.m. on Aug. 9 and 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 10. Entry was made through unknown means to the locked vehicle. Property taken.

Strong-arm robbery

*On Aug. 8 at 11:25 p.m. at Pikesview Drive and Forest Brook Road. Two female victims were approached and property taken. Suspect No. 1 was described as a black male, 18-25, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall, 190-210 pounds, dreadlocks. Suspect No. 2 was described as a black male, 18-22, crew cut.

*On Aug. 13 at 8:40 p.m. in the 18400 block of Stone Hollow Drive. The adult female victim was assaulted and property taken.

Sex assault

*On Aug. 9 at 9:42 a.m. in the 19300 block of Circle Gate Drive. The assault was reported by the juvenile victim’s mother.

Rape

*On Aug. 12 at an apartment in the 18000 block of Chalet Drive. Suspect known to the victim.

Commercial burglary

*Tropical International Market, 19609 Frederick Road in Germantown, between Aug. 8 and Aug. 9. The market is under construction and entry may have been forced. Property was taken.

*Bakery Pistachio, 6860-2 Olney-Laytonsville Road, between 12:43 a.m. and 12:55 a.m. on Aug. 14. Forced entry, nothing taken.

*Frame Tech, 6860-1 Olney- Laytonsville Road, between 12:43 a.m. and 12:55 a.m. on Aug. 14. Forced entry, nothing taken.

*Etchison Country Store, 7000 Damascus Road, between 12:43 a.m. and 12:55 a.m. on Aug. 14. Forced entry, property taken. Suspect No. 1 was described as a white male, 18-24, crew cut, medium complexion. Suspect No. 2 was described as a white male, 18-24, medium build, black boots. The vehicle was described as a medium to dark-colored small pickup truck with extended cab.

*John Deere Landscape, 28400 Ridge Road, between 12:43 a.m. and 12:55 a.m. on Aug. 14. Forced entry, nothing taken.

*Moby Dick’s, 12844 Pinnacle Drive at 10:48 a.m. on Aug. 9. Forced, property taken.

*Party America, 18036 Mateny Road, between 7 p.m. on Aug. 12 and 6:26 a.m. on Aug. 13. Forced entry, property taken. The suspect was described as a black male, 14-18, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, short black hair.

*Poolesville Plumbing & Heating, 20015 Wootton Ave., between 11:45 p.m. on Aug. 11 and 12:45 a.m. on Aug. 12. This business was also burglarized overnight July 25-July 26. Forced entry, property taken. Suspect No. 1 was described as a black male, 25-35, heavy build, sideburns. Suspect No. 2 was described as male, wearing shorts. The vehicle was described as a Honda Civic, late 1990s model.

Residential burglary

*19600 block of Twinflower Circle at 12:10 p.m. on Aug. 9. Burglary was interrupted, the suspect fled, no property taken. The suspect was described as a male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, thin build, black shirt.

*11500 block of Fenchurch Court between 2:30 p.m. and 5:55 p.m. on Aug. 10. Forced entry, property taken.

Aggravated assault

*On Aug. 10 around 12:40 a.m., outside the Red Rock Café, 385 Muddy Branch Road, the adult male victim was found unconscious in the parking lot with his wallet lying on the ground next to him.
