County police report

The following is a summary of recent incidents in the upcounty to which the Montgomery County Police responded. The words ‘‘arrested” and ‘‘charged” do not imply guilt.

Fifth District

Vehicle larceny

*Between Aug. 7 and 8, 17500 block Carlson Farm Court in Brownstown Estates. Vehicle windows were broken and property was taken.

*Between Aug. 7 and 8, 13700 block Monarch Vista Drive in Brownstown Estates. Windows were broken in three vehicles and property was taken.

*Between 6 p.m. Aug. 9 and 6:30 a.m. Aug. 10, 18300 block of Allspice Drive. Someone entered a locked vehicle and took property.

*Between Aug. 9 and 10, Brandermill community in Germantown. Windows were broken in two vehicles and property was taken.

*Between Aug. 10 and 11, Brewers Tavern Way. Two vehicles were searched and property was taken from one vehicle.

*Between 11:55 p.m. Aug. 13 and 12:05 am. Aug. 14, 10200 block of Damascus Manor Road. A man described as black, 28-33, 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall, and weighing 200-230 pounds was seen.

Strong-arm robberies

*On Aug. 8 at 11:25 p.m., Pikesview Drive and Forest Brook Road. Two females were approached and property was taken. The first robber is described as a black male, 18-25, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall, 190-210 pounds, dreadlocks. The second is described as a black male, 18-22, crew cut.

*On Aug. 13 at 8:40 p.m., 18400 block of Stone Hollow Drive. An adult female was assaulted and property taken.

Sex assault

*On Aug. 9 at 9:42 a.m., 19300 block of Circle Gate Drive. Incident was reported by the juvenile victim’s mother.

Rape

*On Aug. 12 in an apartment in the 18000 block of Chalet Drive. Suspect known to the victim.

Commercial burglaries

*Tropical International Market, 19609 Frederick Road in Germantown, between Aug. 8 and 9. The market is under construction and entry may have been forced. Property was taken.

*Bakery Pisachio, 6860-2 Olney-Laytonsville Road. between 12:43 and 12:55 a.m. Aug. 14. Forced entry, nothing taken.

*Frame Tech, 6860-1 Olney-Laytonsville Road, between 12:43 and 12:55 a.m. Aug. 14. Forced entry, nothing taken.

*Aetchison Country Store, 7000 Damascus Road, between 12:43 and 12:55 a.m. on Aug. 14. Forced entry, property taken. The first burglar is described as a white male, 18-24, crew cut, medium complexion. The second is described as a white male, 18-24, medium build, wearing black boots. The vehicle is described as a medium to dark-colored small pickup truck with extended cab.

*John Deere Landscape, 28400 Ridge Road, between 12:43 and 12:55 a.m. Aug. 14. Forced entry, nothing taken.

*Moby Dick’s, 12844 Pinnacle Drive, at 10:48 a.m. Aug. 9. Forced entry, property taken.

*Party America, 18036 Mateny Road, between 7 p.m. Aug. 12 and 6:26 a.m. Aug. 13. Forced entry, property taken. The burglar is described as a black male, 14-18, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, short black hair.

*Poolesville Plumbing & Heating, 20015 Wootton Ave., between 11:45 p.m. Aug. 11 and 12:45 a.m. Aug. 12. The business was also burglarized overnight July 25 to July 26. Forced entry, property taken. The first burglar is described as a black male, 25-35, heavy build, sideburns. The second is described as an unknown male. The vehicle is described as a Honda Civic, late 1990s model.

Residential burglaries

*19600 block of Twinflower Circle, 12:10 p.m. Aug. 9. Burglary was interrupted, the burglar fled, no property taken. The burglar is described as a male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, thin build, wearing a black shirt.

*11500 block of Fenchurch Court, between 2:30 and 5:55 p.m. Aug. 10. Forced entry, property taken.
