City police report

The following is a summary of incidents to which Rockville City Police responded during the past few weeks. The words ‘‘arrested” and ‘‘charged” do not imply guilt.

Illegal Drug Arrests

*May 1, 5:15 p.m., Antron Paige Riley, 23, of Derwood and Karla Yolanda Gomez, 19, of Bethesda were arrested for alleged possession with intent to distribute Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana) following a traffic stop in the 800 block of Hungerford Drive. During the investigation it was discovered that Riley was also allegedly wanted for an outstanding arrest warrant.

*May 19, 3:35 p.m., Robert Allen Tassell, 19, of Rockville was arrested for alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance paraphernalia following an investigation in 13000 block of Atlantic Avenue. He was issued a criminal citation and released.

*May 19, 10:30 p.m., Mikhail Nosov, 19, of Rockville was arrested for alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana) and Controlled Dangerous Substance paraphernalia follow an investigation in the 600 block of Harrington Road.

*May 20, 4:21 a.m., Eduardo Alcides Ventura, 23, of Silver Spring was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Rockville Pike. During the investigation, he was also charged with possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana).

*May 22, 4:40 p.m., Barbara Nelson Reynolds, 49, of Silver Spring was arrested for alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (cocaine) following an investigation in the 600 block of South Stonestreet Avenue.

*May 22, 7:54 p.m., Dayron Anthony Freeman, 20, of Rockville was arrested for alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana) following an investigation in the 1200 block of Taft Street.

*May 22, 8:10 p.m., Keith Augustine, 19, of no fixed address, was arrested for allegedly selling Controlled Dangerous Substance (cocaine) in the 1300 block of East Gude Drive following an earlier incident in the 600 block of South Stonestreet Avenue.

Weapons Arrests

*June 1, 8:09 p.m., Mary Carrol Mike, 50, of unknown address, was arrested for alleged possession of a concealed deadly weapon (knife) and alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana) and Luvonne Sturdivant, 51, of Germantown was arrested for alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana) following a traffic stop in the 400 block of West Montgomery Avenue.

*June 1, 10:07 p.m., Joseph Bealle Davis, 20, of Wheaton was arrested for alleged possession of a concealed weapon (club) following an investigation due to a complaint regarding a large crowd in the vicinity of the 200 block of Rockville Pike.

DUI Arrests

*May 16, 10:44 p.m., Halloluwage Samanmal Hewawasam, 31, of Gaithersburg was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 500 block of King Farm Boulevard.

*May 24, 12:15 p.m., Jorgina Leigh Samir Andrawos, 26, of Gaithersburg was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 700 block of Rockville Pike.

Other Arrests

*May 21, 10:01 p.m., Sylvia Claire Butler, 23, of Silver Spring was arrested for alleged disorderly conduct and allegedly urinating in public following a complaint for a suspicious person in the unit block of Monroe Street.

Thefts

*Between May 10 and 13, 200 block of Congressional Lane, unknown suspect(s) removed a suitcase containing clothing from an unattended vehicle.

*Between May 21 and 22, unit block Infield Court, unknown suspect(s) removed a part from the center console from a locked unattended vehicle.

*May 22, between 2:31 and 3:25 p.m., 1500 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed several boxes of hair supplement from a retail store.

*May 23, between 8:30 and 10 p.m., 600 block of Dover Road, unknown suspect(s) removed a purse containing a driver’s license, a cell phone, a wallet, money, credit cards and cosmetics from an unattended vehicle.

*July 17, between 3 and 3:15 p.m., 1700 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed two tents from a retail store.

*July 24, between 8:40 and 8:50 p.m., unit block of Mannakee Street, unknown suspect(s) removed a laptop computer, a calculator and six video games from a college classroom.

*Between July 27 and 31, 400 block of Winding Rose Drive, unknown suspect(s) removed a car CD stereo and a basketball from an unattended vehicle.

*July 30, 6 p.m., 1500 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed several office supplies from a customer’s shopping cart in a parking lot.

*Between July 31 and Aug. 1, 600 block of Azalea Drive, unknown suspect(s) removed a book case from a stairwell of an apartment complex.

*Between Aug. 2 and 3, 800 block of Crothers Lane, unknown suspect(s) removed a GPS system from an unattended locked vehicle.

*Aug. 3, 3:37 a.m., Twinbrook Parkway and Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed two cartons of cigarrettes from a service station.

*Aug. 5, between midnight and 2 p.m., unit block of Kirkfield Court, unknown suspect(s) removed a front bumper from an unattended vehicle.

*Aug. 5, between 6:30 and 8:20 p.m., 1500 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed a purse containing a driver’s license, assorted creit cards and miscellaneous keys from a restaurant.

*Between Aug. 7 and 8, 800 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed an espresso machine from a retail store.

*Aug. 8, between 7 a.m. and 2:33 p.m., 1200 block of West Montgomery Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed jewelry from a hotel room.

Burglaries

*Between May 18 and 21, 2000 block of Tower Oaks Boulevard, commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained access by forcing open a gate at a construction site and removed several power tools and accessories.

*May 18, 100 block of South Adams Street, residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access through an unlocked rear window and took money.

*Between May 19 and 20, 200 block of South Washington Street, residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access by entering through an unlock garage door of a residence and removed a purse, a wallet, a cell phone, money, a checkbook, a driver’s license, credit and debit cards, and a set of car keys.

*Between May 21 and 22, 5900 block of Halpine Road, commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained unknown access to a building and removed tools, several work benches and a power saw.

*July 30, between 12:01 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., 100 block of South Adams Street, residential, unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry by pulling off the door handle and smashing glass of a rear door of a residence. No entry was made.

*Between Aug. 3 and 4, 100 block of Rollins Avenue, commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained access through a roof vent of a restaurant. Nothing taken.

*Between Aug. 9 and 10, 500 block of Brent Road, residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access by pushing through Plexiglas on a side door. Nothing taken.

*Aug. 11, between midnight and 7 a.m., 14900 block Shady Grove Road, commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained access by breaking through a rear window and unlocking a rear door and took money.

*Aug. 11, between 12:30 and 3:30 a.m., 800 block of Rockville Pike, commercial, unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain access by breaking out a front door or a retail store. No entry was made.
