Small change would cut accidents

Far too many automobile accidents occur at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Emory Lane in Olney.

They seem to mainly involve northbound drivers on Georgia making risky left turns onto Emory across oncoming southbound traffic. The simple solution would be for the northbound green turn arrow on Georgia to change to a red arrow when the signal permits southbound traffic to go. I’m surely not alone in getting tired of looking at wrecked cars, broken bodies, ambulances and fire engines at that corner.
