Advantage Homes in Urbana Highlands offers two new series of single-family homes: the neo-traditional Americana Series and the premium Manor Series.

The Americana floor plans range from 2,700 to 3,166 square feet. All have four bedrooms and detached garages with base prices from $549,900 to $579,900. The larger Manor Series Collection offers plans from 3,313 to 4,241 square feet with prices from $629,900 to $699,900.

The ‘‘Elevation 1” base price of each series includes a walkout basement and a brick front. Both offer standard features including 9-foot ceilings, granite countertops, a gas fireplace, recessed lighting and extensive chair rail and crown moldings, and 5-inch base boards.

A tour of The Braxton, one of the neo-traditional home models, starts with a covered front porch that spans the width of the home’s facade. Inside, the foyer opens to the living and dining rooms on each side and features hardwood floors and oversized crown molding and base trim.

The formal dining room on the left features dual windows in front and a tray ceiling overhead. Across the hall, the living room has French doors to the front porch. Pillars at the entrances of both rooms provide extra-wide openings.

Down the center hall on the right sits a half-bath with a floor-to-ceiling window; a coat closet; and a large study with French doors, cherry built-ins and generous windows.

The center-island kitchen offers ample storage space, granite countertops, 42-inch cherry cabinets and stainless steel appliances. A built-in desk is also here. A butler’s service area with a wet bar, wine rack and a large pantry sits between the kitchen and the dining room.

The attached breakfast room is open to family room, which has a wooden staircase to the second floor. A short back hall off this area provides access to a covered deck.

The family room features a slate-surround gas fireplace flanked by tall windows and capped with a stone mantel. A bumpout area serves as a sunroom with windows on three sides, and a French door to the deck. Tray ceilings are featured in both rooms.

Two large windows fill the main staircase with light, one halfway up the landing, another at the top landing. A linen closet sits at the top of the steps, in proximity to the second-floor laundry room with built-in cabinets and ceramic tile floor. Hardwoods cover the hallway floor.

The master suite features crown molding and a tray ceiling with a chandelier. A built-in wet bar with wine rack and refrigerator sit near the entrance, while a sitting room has bumpout windows and French doors to a balcony. His⁄hers walk-in closets flank the entry to the master bath, which has a linen closet, a granite-topped double cherry vanity and a corner soaking tub below a double window. The water closet contains a shower with built-in bench and decorative tiles.

Two additional bedrooms share a buddy bath. Both rooms are large and light-filled. The fourth bedroom has its own ceramic bath with a single vanity and a shower⁄tub combination.

The finished basement has a window in the landing on the way down, a large kitchenette with a wet-bar, and a French door on a lit pantry closet, a wine rack, built-ins and ceramic floor. The rec room has a corner gas fireplace with brick surround. A full bath, an office, and a home theater⁄workout room offer extra room for hobbies, storage and home entertainment.

Outside, the decks lead down to a paver patio area, which connects to the detached two-car garage with attic storage.

When built out, Advantage Homes will offer 72 homes in Urbana Highlands. Nearly a third of those are sold, according to sales manager Matthew Sitler. As part of the neo-traditional development, neighbors enjoy proximity to commuter routes, shopping plazas, parks, walking paths, swimming pools and tennis courts.
