City Police Report

The following is a summary of incidents to which Rockville City Police responded during the past few weeks. The words "arrested" and "charged" do not imply guilt.

Illegal Drug Arrests

Aug. 5, between 9:10 and 10:30 p.m., Wilmer Antonio Galoramirez, 28, of Hyattsville was arrested for alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance paraphernalia and allegedly obstructing/hindering a police investigation following a complaint 700 block of Rockville Pike.

Aug. 7, 5:15 p.m., Leon N. Washington, 47, of no fixed address, was arrested for alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance paraphernalia and alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (cocaine), and Tyrone R. Smith, 60, of no fixed address, was arrested for alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (cocaine) following a complaint in the 1100 block Taft Street.

Weapons Arrest

Aug. 9, between 10:30 and 11:30 p.m., Abdel B. Shaat, 23, of Rockville was arrested for alleged possession of a concealed weapon (knife) following a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Rockville Pike. During the investigation, it was discovered that he had an outstanding warrant from Anne Arundel County.

Assault Arrests

Aug. 7, between 9:20 and 10:20 p.m., Alex Mayo Budd, 31, of Rockville was arrested for alleged second-degree domestic assault and alleged disorderly conduct and Rachel Marie McDermott, 24, also of Rockville, was arrested for alleged second-degree domestic assault following a complaint in the 200 block of Jay Drive.

Theft Arrests

July 31, 12:45 p.m., Tyrice T. Bradley, 27, of no fixed address, was arrested for alleged shoplifting following a complaint in the 800 block of Rockville Pike

Aug. 5, 6:15 p.m., Pierre Lawrence Lockhart, 28, of Rockville was arrested for alleged shoplifting following a complaint in the 800 block of Rockville Pike.

Aug. 7, 8:14 p.m., Joseph Corey Norwood, 34 of Elkridge, and Jonathan David Capers, 26, of Washington, D.C., were arrested for alleged theft and alleged destruction of property, and Capers for alleged conspiracy to commit theft, following a complaint in the 100 block of Halpine Road.

DUI Arrests

Aug. 4, 9:15 p.m., Jeffrey David Fellows, 42, of Gaithersburg was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Wootton and Preserve parkways.

Aug. 5, 12:35 a.m., Mark Paul Brenneman, 22, of Marriottsville was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Tower Oaks Boulevard and Interstate 270.

Aug. 10, 5:20 a.m., Joaquin Maldonado, 51, of Rockville was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 800 block of First Street.

Aug. 11, 12:20 p.m., Bladimir Alfaro Delcid, 23, of Rockville was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Rockville Pike.

Other Arrests

Aug. 4, 7:10 a.m., Howard James Moody Jr., 50, of no fixed address, was arrested for alleged disorderly conduct following a complaint at the intersection of Monroe Street and East Montgomery Avenue.

Aug. 4, 6:21 p.m., female juvenile, 17, of Rockville was arrested for alleged trespassing following a complaint in the 300 block of Martins Lane. She was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released to the custody of her guardian.

Aug. 6, 9:30 p.m., Marvin Giovanni Herrera, 25, of no fixed address, was arrested for allegedly drinking in public following a complaint at the intersection of Frederick Road and College Parkway.

Aug. 10, 11:20 p.m., Richard Alexander Tilley, 19, of Rockville was arrested for alleged attempted malicious destruction of property following a complaint in the 1100 block of Maple Avenue.

Thefts

July 31, 5:48 p.m., 300 block of Martins Lane, unknown suspect(s) removed a backpack containing a boom box and 20 DVD's from a swim facility.

Between Aug. 2 and 8, 900 block of College Parkway, unknown suspect(s) removed two car seats from an unattended vehicle.

Aug. 4, 7:30 p.m., 100 block of Moore Drive, unknown suspect(s) removed two locks, a set of bicycle bags and a bike pump from an unsecured garage.

Between Aug. 7 and 8, 15600 block of Frederick Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed a tire from an unattended vehicle.

Aug. 8, between 4:30 and 5 p.m., 100 block of Halpine Road, unknown suspect(s) removed a pair of glasses, sunglasses, a digital camera, an ID card, an insurance card and a vehicle registration card from two unattended vehicles.

Between Aug. 8 and 9, 15600 block of Frederick Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed three tires from an unattended vehicle.

Burglaries

Between Aug. 1 and 6, 5700 block of Crawford Avenue, residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access through an unlocked side window of a residence. Nothing taken.

Aug. 8, 11:27 a.m., 5900 block of Halsey Road, residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access by forcing open a side window of a residence. Nothing taken.

Aug. 8, 2:30 p.m., 300 block of Carl Street, residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access by breaking through a rear door window of a residence and removed several pieces of jewelry, cutlery, medication, flatware, a camera, a cell phone, money, three video game consoles, an iPod and a gift card.
