The following is a summary of incidents in eastern Montgomery County to which Montgomery County police responded. The words ‘‘arrested” and ‘‘charged” do not imply guilt.

Silver Spring district

Strong-arm robberies, attempts

*July 13: Two men assaulted a victim and took property 10:30 p.m. in an elevator in the 1100 block of Fidler Lane.

The robbers were black, between 20 and 24 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 2 inches tall. One had a beard. No further description of the victim or robbers was provided by police.

*July 10: Three males assaulted a male victim with an unknown object and took property 12:15 a.m. as the victim was walking from a bus stop in the 11500 block of February Circle.

The robbers were black, between 16 and 23 years old, and between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall.

*July 13: Three males assaulted and took property from a male victim 11:30 a.m. near Cedar Tree Drive and Scarlet Sage Drive.

The robbers were black, between 15 and 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighed between 140 and 170 pounds.

*July 17: Five males threatened a 13-year-old boy and took his property 10:23 p.m. in the area of the Exxon station on Outlet Drive. The robbers were black; no further description of the robbers was provided by police.

*July 21: Two men tried to take cash 6:30 p.m. from Summit Hills Market, 8518 16th St., but someone called police and the men ended up fleeing without money. Both men were between 17 and 20 years old. One was black with an afro-style haircut and had tattoos on his arms. The other man was of unknown race, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighed 160 pounds.

Strong arm robbery, sex assault

*July 14: A female victim said a male sexually assaulted her 11 p.m. after he asked to use her cell phone at the bus stop in front of the 8400 block of Fenton Street and then ran away with it. The victim chased the man, which is when he assaulted her.

The robber was black, between 16 and 19 years old, with dreadlocks.

Commercial burglaries

*Gist Avenue, 900 block, 3:16 a.m. July 13. Forced entry; property taken.

*New Hampshire Avenue, 12000 block, dentist office in a residence, 3:25 a.m. July 13. Forced entry; property taken.

*Francis Scott Key Middle School, 910 Schindler Drive, July 13 10:30 p.m. Three juveniles age 15 to 16 were arrested.

Residential burglaries

*Strauss Terrace, 2900 block, between 7:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. July 11. Forced entry; property taken.

*Strauss Terrace, 2900 block, 3 p.m. July 11. No forced entry; no property taken.

*Treetop Lane, 1900 block, 11:18 a.m. July 11. Forced entry; no property taken.

*Bruton Parish Way, 3500 block, between 6 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. July 12. Forced entry; no property taken.

*Big Horn Drive, 12900 block, between midnight and 6 p.m. July 10. Forced entry; property taken.

*Big Horn Drive, 12900 block, between 9:15 a.m. and 6:40 p.m. July 13. Forced entry; property taken.

*Shepperton Terrace, 2900 block, between 10 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. July 16. No entry; no property taken.

*Cameron Street, 8700 block, 9:35 p.m. July 13. Forced entry; property taken.

*Cameron Street, 8700 block, between 6 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. July 13. Forced entry; property taken.

Wheaton-Glenmont district

Armed robberies

*July 15: A man armed with a handgun took property from a victim 7:55 p.m. at Valleywood Drive and Andrew Street. The robber was black, 18 to 20 years old, between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighed between 165 and 180 pounds, had a heavy build and a crew cut.

*July 16: A man armed with a weapon demanded property from a victim 10 p.m. in the 2500 block of Randolph Road at Judson Road. He was Hispanic, between 20 and 25 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighed 155 pounds and had long black hair.

Strong-arm robbery

*July 14: Robbers got out of a car 9:45 p.m., assaulted a victim and took the victim’s property as the victim was walking with others in the 300 block of Stonegate Drive. The car had a spoiler and hood scoop. One suspect was described as a 17-year-old white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build and close cropped blond hair. Details about the victim were not provided by police.

*July 10: Three teenage boys armed with an unknown weapon took property from a victim 10:34 p.m. on the basketball court behind St. Peter’s church, 2900 Sandy Spring Road. The robbers were black. One was 15 to 16 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, had a medium build and close-cropped hair. Two others were between 17 and 20 years old, 6 feet tall, weighed 200 pounds and wore black bandanas.

Indecent exposure

*July 17: A 15-year-old girl said she observed a man masturbating outside her window 7:30 a.m. in the 11600 block of Elkin Street. He was Hispanic, between 30 and 35 years old. The same victim reported a Hispanic male knocking on her bedroom window about 1 a.m. June 25. She is not sure if it is the same suspect.
