City police report

The following is a summary of incidents to which Rockville City Police responded during the past few weeks. The words ‘‘arrested” and ‘‘charged” do not imply guilt.

Illegal Drug Arrests

*April 4, between 9:25 and 10:30 p.m., Devonn Christian Garrett, 21, of Gaithersburg was arrested for alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance paraphernalia and two outstanding warrants during an investigation involving a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Wootton Parkway.

*April 7, 9:45 p.m., Osiris A. Mosley, 26, of Rockville was arrested for alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana) following a trespassing complaint in the 900 block of Lewis Avenue.

*April 10, 11:40 p.m., George Richard Addison Jr., 33, of Sandy Spring was arrested for three counts of alleged trespassing, alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana), alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (cocaine) and allegedly urinating in public, and Karen Crutchfield, 37, of Rockville was arrested for alleged trespassing following an incident in the 1200 block of First Street. Crutchfield was issued a criminal citation and released. Addison was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

*April 12, 12:19 a.m., George Wesley Evans Jr., 37, of Oxon Hill was arrested for alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana) following a traffic stop in the 600 block of Lofstrand Lane.

*April 15, 7:10 p.m., Jason Phillip Stein, 18, of Olney was arrested for alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana) and alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 100 block of East Middle Lane.

*April 15, 8:30 p.m., Laylah Alexandra Maynold, 42, of Rockville was arrested for alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance paraphernalia following a complaint for a domestic dispute in the 600 block of Elmcroft Boulevard.

DUI Arrests

*April 8, 2:30 a.m., Marcos Cajas Jr., 34, of Rockville was arrested for allegedly driving while under the influence following a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Veirs Mill Road. He was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.

*April 12, 3:40 p.m., Adrian Tyree Taylor, 25, of Silver Spring was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at the intersection of Southlawn Lane and East Gude Drive. He was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

*April 13, 11:33 a.m., Bryan Patrick Corbin, 32, of Potomac was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Rollins Avenue and Rollins Court. He was transported to the Montgomery County Police Department’s First District Station for processing and released.

Other Arrests

*Roberto Estuardo Valenzuela, 35, of Rockville was arrested for alleged malicious destruction of property and alleged disorderly conduct following a traffic dispute in the 1900 block of Veirs Mill Road.

*April 12, 10:55 p.m., Tomas Cedilla, who refused to provide his age and address, was arrested for allegedly failing to provide identification to a police officer, allegedly possessing an alcoholic beverage in a city park and allegedly being in a city park after closing in the 1200 block of Veirs Mill Road.

*April 13, 6:40 p.m., Yasar Altinay, 42, of Rockville was arrested for allegedly violating a protective order following a complaint for a stolen vehicle in the 500 block of King Farm Boulevard.

*April 14, 4 a.m., Colin Benjamin Riffe, 23, of Beltsville was arrested for alleged malicious destruction of property following a complaint of a disorderly person in the 200 block of Rockville Pike.

Thefts

*April 10, between 4:30 and 6:45 p.m., 800 block of Monroe Street, unknown suspect(s) removed a cell phone from a basketball court.

*April 11, 2:15 p.m., unit block of Maryland Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed a laptop computer from an unlocked unattended office at a construction site.

*Between April 11 and 12, 800 block of Leverton Road, unknown suspect(s) removed an Ipod with speakers from an unattended vehicle.

*April 13, 12:45 p.m., 700 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed a duffle bag, clothing, maps, office supplies, coins and a GPS system from an unattended vehicle.

*Between June 17 and 23, unit block of Marcia Court, unknown suspect(s) removed a car stereo from an unattended vehicle.

*July 19, between 1:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m., 14000 block of Cove Lane, unknown suspect(s) removed an AM⁄FM CD player and assorted CDs from an unattended vehicle.

*June 19, between 12:30 and 12:35 p.m., unit block of Maryland Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed a wallet, a cell phone with case, a driver’s license, a government identification badge, credit cards and keys from a library office.

*June 19, between 1:30 and 4:20 p.m., 1700 block of Farragut Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed a stereo faceplate from an unattended vehicle.

*Between June 19 and 20, 500 block of Meadow Hall Drive, unknown suspect(s) removed a briefcase, two wallets, credit cards, a driver’s license and money from an unlocked unattended vehicle.

*Between June 19 and 20, 2000 block of Baltimore Road, unknown suspect(s) removed AM⁄FM⁄CD player from an unattended vehicle.

*Between June 19 and 20, 600 block of Broadwood Court, unknown suspects(s) removed a CD⁄tape player, several CDs, a case of water and volleyball from an unattended vehicle.

*June 20, between 1 and 6 a.m., 5900 block of Lemay Road, unknown suspect(s) removed an AM⁄FM⁄CD player from an unattended vehicle.

*Between June 20 and 21, 2300 Ring Street, unknown suspect(s) removed an AM⁄FM⁄CD player, a vehicle owner’s manual and a vehicle registration from an unattended vehicle.

*Between June 21 and 22, 13102 Okinawa Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed a small piece of luggage and a CD player from an unattended vehicle.

*June 22, between 1:25 and 1:30 p.m., unit block of Maryland Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed a laptop computer from a public library.

*Between June 22 and 23, unit block of Radburn Court, unknown suspect(s) removed a laptop computer, a GPS system and a day planner from an unattended vehicle.

*Between June 21 and 25, 100 block of Frederick Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed a laptop from a business.

*Between June 25 and 26, 700 block of Maple Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed a GPS system from an unattended vehicle.

*June 27, between 1 and 2 p.m., unit block of Monroe Street, unknown suspect(s) removed a wallet containing credit cards, a driver’s license money and a checkbook from two offices.

*June 27, between 1:30 and 1:39 p.m., 12400 block of Twinbrook Parkway, unknown suspect(s) removed a karaoke machine from a music store.

*June 27, between 4:15 and 4:30 p.m., 1600 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed a purse containing a wallet, credit cards and money from an unattended shopping cart a retail store.

*June 27, 5:40 p.m., 1500 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed a tube of toothpaste, a pack of razors and a bar of soap from a retail store.

*June 29, between 7:30 and 7:35 p.m., 2100 block of Veirs Mill Road, unknown suspect(s) removed a wallet from a counter of a restaurant.

*Between June 30 and July 1, 1100 block of Pipestem Place, unknown suspect(s) removed an iPod from an unattended vehicle.

*Between June 30 and July 1, unit block of Stonepath Court, unknown suspect(s) removed a GPS system from an unattended vehicle.

*Between June 18 and 19, 500 block of Meadow Hall Drive, unknown suspect(s) removed a briefcase and several CDs from an unattended vehicle.

*July 3, between 9:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., 100 block of Congressional Lane, unknown suspect(s) removed a wallet containing money and a driver’s license from an unattended vehicle.

*Between July 5 and 6, 1700 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed a laptop computer from an unlocked office desk drawer.

*July 9, between 7 and 7:25 p.m., 2400 block of Wootton Parkway, unknown suspect(s) removed a laptop with case and a check from an unattended vehicle.

*June 10, between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., 1100 block of Gaither Road, unknown suspect(s) removed jewelry from a residence.

*Between June 8 and 9, 400 block of Nina Place, unknown suspect(s) removed a center console bag, several CDs, an Ipod transmitter and two cell phone chargers from an unattended vehicle.

*June 11, between 12:01 and 8 a.m., 500 block of Redland Boulevard, unknown suspect(s) removed a GPS system from an unattended vehicle.

*July 11, 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., 100 block of East Montgomery Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed a wallet containing an ID card, credit cards, a driver’s license and money from an office.

*July 11, between 3 and 3:30 p.m., unit block of Research Court, unknown suspect(s) removed purse containing a cell phone, a wallet, credit cards, money, a driver’s license and ID cards from an office.

*July 11, between 6 and 9 p.m., 100 block of Gibbs Street, unknown suspect(s) removed a wallet from a purse at a restaurant.

*July 12, between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., 600 block of Lofstrand Lane, unknown suspect(s) removed an AM⁄FM⁄CD stereo from an unattended vehicle.

*Between July 12 and 13, 100 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed from an office.

Burglaries

*Between March 30 and April 2, 1800 block of Rockville Pike, commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained access by prying open an office door a business and removed money.

*Between March 31 and April 1, 800 block of Baltimore Road, commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained access by prying open the front door of a restaurant and removed money and several packs of cigarettes.

*April 6, 1 a.m., 300 block of Potomac Street, residential, unknown suspect(s) gained unknown access through a front door of a residence and removed a wallet containing money, a driver’s license and credit⁄bank cards.

*April 7, between 3 and 3:30 a.m., 2200 block of Rockland Avenue, residential, unknown suspected attempted to gain access by breaking a basement window. No entry was made.

*Between April 9 and 10, 100 block of Rollins Avenue, residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access through a front door to an apartment. Nothing taken.

*April 10, 500 block of West Montgomery Avenue, commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained access by breaking through a rear window of building. Nothing taken.

*April 11, between 12:33 and 3:53 a.m., 800 block of Baltimore Road, commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained access by prying open a front door of a restaurant and removed money, cigarettes and beer.

*Between April 11 and 12, 900 block of Maple Avenue, residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access by climbing through a side window of a residence and removed a laptop computer.

*Between April 11 and 12, 5900 block of Halpine Road, commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained access by cutting through a fence and breaking through a front door of a business and removed a tamper and two pipe saws.

*April 13, between 12:39 and 12:52 a.m., 800 block of Baltimore Road, commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained access by breaking through a rear door of a restaurant. Nothing taken.

*Between June 15 and 16, 700 block of Baltimore Road, residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access by cutting a screen on a window of a residence and removed a wallet containing credit cards and checks.

*Between June 15 and 16, 200 block of Baltimore Road, residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access through an unlocked rear door of a residence and removed two wallets containing credit cards, driver’s licenses and money.

*June 18, between 9:15 and 10:50 p.m., 500 block of West Montgomery Avenue, commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained access by cutting through a screen door and entering through an unlocked window. Nothing taken.

*Between June 22 and 25, unit block of Church Street, commercial, unknown suspect(s) removed copper wire from a construction site.

*Between June 23 and 26, 900 block of North Stonestreet Avenue, residential, unknown suspect(s) gained entry by removing a window pane from a side window of a residence and removed money, an electric guitar and a digital camera.

*Between July 3 and 4, 1000 block of Scott Avenue, residential, unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain access by breaking through a glass panel of a rear door of a residence. No entry was made.

*July 4, between midnight and 9 a.m., 500 block of Carr Avenue, residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access through a rear window of a residence and removed money and a check.

*July 4, between 1 and 6 a.m., 700 block of Owens Street, residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access by cutting through a rear screen door of a residence. Nothing taken.

*July 4, 3:48 a.m., 400 block of Anderson Avenue, residential, unknown suspect(s) gained unknown access to a residence. Nothing taken.

*Between July 4 and 5, 1400 block of Rockville Pike, commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained access to a mechanical room of a building at a construction site and removed copper wiring.
