Police report

The following is a summary of incidents in Rockville to which the Montgomery County Police responded recently. The words ‘‘arrested” and ‘‘charged” do not imply guilt.

Assault⁄arrest

*On June 26: At 10 a.m., the suspect was videotaping a cashier without her permission inside the Giant food store located 625 Hungerford Drive in Rockville. When confronted by an officer, the suspect pushed and kicked the officer and started to run. He was located in a post office in the same shopping center. Carl Richard Stoll, 59, of the 300 block of Seth Place in Rockville, was charged with false statement to police and two counts of second-degree assault.

Aggravated assault

*On July 17: Between 10 and 11:05 p.m. police responded to the 14600 block of Pinto Lane in Rockville, for an assault. Two male suspects reportedly attacked three male victims, 17-18, all from Bethesda, with weapons and damaged their property. One victim did receive a laceration injury and all were threatened with what appeared to be a rifle. The suspects are known to the victims.

Armed robbery

*On June 22: At 9:30 p.m., the 40-year-old male victim from Rockville was walking from the 7-Eleven store on the corner of Baltimore Road and Norbeck Road in Rockville. As he approached the 1110 block of Veirs Mill Road, a suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded cash. The victim complied and the suspect ran south on Veirs Mill Road. The suspect was described as a black male, 25, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, 170 pounds, brown slacks, brown polo-style shirt.

*On June 11: At 10:30 p.m., a 64-year-old man from Rockville was walking on the access road of Interstate 370 between Crabbs Branch Way and Shady Grove Road in Rockville, when an unknown man ran from behind and pushed him, and took personal property from him. The suspect implied that he had a gun. The suspect was described as a black male, 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 170 pounds, white T-shirt.

*On June 6; At 5:11 p.m., a 43-year-old from Georgia was in his vehicle sitting at the exit to the Red Roof Inn in Rockville, when the suspect drove up, got out of his truck and pointed a gun at the victim. The suspect demanded money and the victim complied. The victim drove after the suspect to the Red Roof Inn at 16001 Shady Grove Road in Rockville. Officers responded to the Red Roof Inn and found the 42-year-old male suspect, of an unknown address in Florida. The victim declined to press charges, just asking that his money to be returned.

*On July 7: At 5:45 a.m., a 29-year-old man from Silver Spring, was working at the Sunoco gas station at 10010 Darnestown Road in Rockville when a customer entered the store and engaged him in conversation. He then asked for cigarettes and when the employee got them, the suspect displayed a gun and demanded cash. The victim grabbed his cell phone to call for help. The suspect then grabbed two or three pairs of sunglasses and ran away. The suspect was located by responding officers. Valiant Emilio Rodriquez, 23, of the unit block of Crownwood Court in Rockville, was charged with armed robbery.

*On June 16: At 1:30 a.m., the 41-year-old male victim from Rockville had parked his car in the 5500 block of Besley Court in Rockville, when he was approached by two unknown male suspects. One suspect pointed a gun at the victim and demanded money. When the victim said he didn’t have any money the suspect took out a Taser and pointed it at the victim. The Taser struck him in his glasses. The victim then ran away. The victim was not injured and the suspects did not obtain anything from him. The victim could not provide descriptions of the suspects.

*On July 12: At approximately 2:10 p.m., two armed suspects entered Famous Pawnbrokers located at 1309 East Gude Drive in Rockville. One subject fired a single gunshot into the air and announced the robbery. Police were notified and arrived as the suspects were leaving the business. Both subjects were arrested without incident. Raymond Johnson, 39, of no fixed address and Damon Dexter Williams, 33, of Upper Marlboro were arrested.

*On July 11: At approximately 9:05 p.m., an armed suspect entered Manny and Olga’s located at 12220 Rockville Pike in Rockville and announced the robbery. No one was hurt; property taken. The suspect was described as a black male, 30, 6 feet to 6 feet 5 inches tall, heavy build, black baseball cap, gray jacket.

Commercial burglary

*Dogtopia at 4920 Wyaconda Road in Rockville, between 10:37 and 10:48 p.m. July 6. No forced entry; cash taken.

*Century Pool Management at 5020 Nicholson Court in Rockville, between 4:30 p.m. June 16 and 7:50 a.m. June 17. No forced entry; property taken.

*River Falls Seafood Company, 10124 River Road in Rockville, between 11 p.m. July 13 and 7:30 a.m. July 14. No forced entry; property taken.

Residential burglary

*10400 block of Procera Drive in Rockville, between 1 a.m. July 2 and 9:30 a.m. July 3. No forced entry; property taken

*15500 block of Norman Drive in Darnestown, between 12:30 and 1 a.m. July 5. No forced entry; nothing taken.

*12100 Gatewater Drive in Potomac, between 2:30 p.m. June 16 and 6 p.m. July 5. No forced entry; cash taken.

*10700 block of Maplecrest Lane in Rockville, between 8:30 p.m. July 11 and 10:50 a.m. July 12. No forced entry; property taken.

*10900 block of Brent Road in Rockville, between 10:30 a.m. July 10 and 3:09 p.m. July 11. Forced entry; property taken.

*5800 block of Inman Park Circle in Rockville, between 4:45 p.m. June 16 and 11 a.m. June 17. Forced entry; nothing taken.

*10500 block of River Road in Potomac, between noon July 9 and 8:45 a.m. July 16. Forced entry; property taken.

*11500 block of Swains Lock Terrace in Potomac, between 11:50 p.m. July 15 and 1 a.m. July 16. No forced entry; property taken.

*11900 block of Parklawn Place in Rockville, between 11:30 p.m. July 14 and 6:30 a.m. July 15. Forced entry; property taken.
