Gironda, Althisar married

Stacey Lea Gironda and Tyler McConnell Althisar were married Dec. 16 in the Historic Chapel at Milton Ridge in Clarksburg. The Rev. Daniel Melton officiated. A reception followed.

The bride is the daughter of Donna and Michael Gironda of Clarksburg. The 2002 graduate of Urbana High School and a 2007 graduate of Towson University is a teacher with Frederick County Public Schools.

The groom is the son of Sudie and Raleigh Althisar Jr. of Charlottesville, Va. He is a 1998 graduate of Poway High School and is in management with Starbucks Coffee Company.

Meredith Henning served as matron of honor and Stephanie Mordensky was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the groom’s sister Julie Melton and the bride’s cousin Leslie Elmore. The groom’s nieces Ally and Emma Melton were flower girls.

Benjamin Henning was best man, and the groom’s brother Sutton Althisar, John Swiss and Robert Hanvey were groomsmen.

Margarita Matamoros did a reading, and Sutton Althisar provided music for the ceremony.

After honeymooning at the Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, Va., and in La Jolla, Calif., the couple reside in Frederick.
