Joseph Stonestreet IV

Joseph Harris Stonestreet IV, 77, of Rockville died of congestive heart failure and diabetes on July 22.

Born Jan. 10, 1930, in Barnesville, he was the husband of Doris T. Stonestreet for 52 years.

Mr. Stonestreet served in the U.S. Army and attended Catholic University.

Survivors in addition to his wife include eight children, Debra Klecker of Silver Spring, Carol Stonestreet of Germantown, Joseph Stonestreet V of Edgewater, Catherine Purcell of Rockville, Laura Greenbaum of Churchton, Mary Beth Matney and Steven Stonestreet, both of Mount Airy, and Janice Passero of Silver Spring; one brother, Robert Stonestreet of Barnesville; and one sister, Marguerite King of Savage Mill.

A viewing will be held on Thursday at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, Silver Spring from 5-8 p.m.

A memorial service will be held at the Shrine of St. Jude, Rockville at 11 a.m. on Friday. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Aspen Hill.
