Sunny rooms are featured throughout this end-unit townhome in Rockville’s Decoverly community, off of Key West Avenue near Shady Grove Road.

The generous windows are also found in the finished lower level, as are sliding glass doors to a brick patio and fenced yard.

Steps with railings lead up to the front door, which has sidelights and a large Palladian window above. The entry foyer also has a side window.

A few more steps lead up to the home’s main level. The living room has a triple window overlooking the driveway, as well as dentil crown molding and a wood-burning fireplace with marble surround. Carpet lines the floor here and in the dining room nearby.

Here, crown and chair rail moldings, a brass chandelier and custom painted walls add elegance to the room. Another triple window here overlooks the front corner lot.

A coat closet and a half-bath are nearby.

Beyond, the breakfast room offers a corner storage closet and sliding glass doors to a deck. Hardwood floors and sunny yellow walls run here and in the attached kitchen.

The kitchen features recessed lights, dark-stained wooden cabinets, a corner walk-in pantry, and white-colored appliances and counters. A window above the sinks looks out to the deck.

Stairs off of the dining room lead to the upper level, where wall-to-wall carpet runs in the hall and all three bedrooms.

The master bedroom has dentil crown molding, two windows and a lighted ceiling fan. It includes a pair of walk-in closets and an all-white ceramic bath with a jetted tub with a Palladian window above, separate shower and a double vanity.

The smaller rooms both have mirrored closets and share a hall bath. A hall linen closet completes this level.

The lower level offers a second half-bath, the laundry room and a rec⁄family room. The latter features a floor-to-ceiling brick fireplace (gas) with a raised hearth and a mantel, a window and sliding glass doors to the patio and yard.

Access to the one-car garage is also down here.

Recent updates include new carpet, A⁄C unit, hot water heater, roof and gutters.
