County police report

The following is a summary of recent incidents in the upcounty to which the Montgomery County Police responded. The words ‘‘arrested” and ‘‘charged” do not imply guilt.

Fifth District

Robbery

*On June 30 at 9:10 p.m. at the Shoppers Food Warehouse, 18066 Mateny Road in Germantown, a 58-year-old female victim from Germantown was walking from the food store to her car when she was approached by an unknown man who grabbed her purse off her shoulder, and then ran towards Clopper Mill road. He is described as black, 16-19, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, 190-210 pounds.

Strong-arm robbery

*On June 20, a 14-year-old male was arrested at the 18400 block of Mateny Road in Germantown for allegedly attacking and robbing a 32-year-old man from Germantown. The teen was accompanied by a group of eight other males who allegedly punched and kicked the victim several times. An investigation is ongoing for the others involved.

Residential burglaries

*20300 block of Beaconfield Terrace in Germantown, between 1:01 and 11 a.m. June 9. Forced entry; no property taken.

*18100 block of Northern Dancer Lane in Boyds, between 3 and 4 p.m. June 6. Forced entry; no property taken.

*13400 block of Queenstown Lane in Germantown, at 11:20 p.m. June 14. No forced entry; no property taken.

*13100 block of Wonderland Way in Germantown, at 10 p.m. June 20. Forced entry; property taken

*25600 block of Coltrane Drive in Damascus. between 2 and 4 p.m. June 20. No forced entry; property taken.

*13200 block of Trimfield Lane in Germantown, between 5:25 and 5:35 a.m. June 29. No forced entry; no property taken.

*12400 block of Walnut Cove Circle in Germantown, between 8 a.m. and 2:18 p.m. July 6. Forced entry; property taken.
