Fatal motorcycle accident in Oxon hill

Maryland State Police are investigative a fatal motorcycle accident occurred Sunday evening in Oxon Hill.

Cornell Riddick, of Greenbelt was approaching the ramp from the Interstate 295 South onto Highway 210 at about 7 p.m. when his motorcycle spun out of control and slammed into a guardrail, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. There was one passenger on the back of the motorcycle who survived the crash. The identity and condition of the passenger has not been released.

There were no witnesses on the scene at the time of the accident, which is still being investigated by the Maryland State police.
