Thank you, Tierney, for all your work for Hyattsville

I am writing to express my appreciation to Bill Tierney for running in the special Ward 2 Council Election on Tuesday. Bill has been a longtime volunteer for the city. His advice over the years on budget, personnel and basic service issues has been invaluable.

No one has stuck up for the city staff like Bill Tierney — especially the Hyattsville police officers. When the police officers needed protective equipment, Bill went into his own pocket to help them. I know he will continue to serve with dedication as a council member.

I have enjoyed knowing and working with Bill, and I know the residents of Ward 2 will as well.
