The next Base Realignment and Closure Implementation Committee meeting has been moved to 7:30 p.m., July 29, at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Services Center, 4805 Edgemoor Lane, Bethesda.

It will be the first meeting of the committee since ground was broken on the new Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda July 3.

Pedestrian and bike paths in and around the site will be discussed, and the State Highway Administration will make a presentation about the proposed off ramp to the center from Interstate 495.

There is no meeting of the committee in August. The next meeting is scheduled for Sept. 16.
