Police Report

The following is a summary of incidents in the upcounty to which the Montgomery County Police responded recently. The words ‘‘arrested” and ‘‘charged” do not imply guilt.

Aggravated assault

*On June 20 at 10:38 p.m., in the 20400 block of Summersong Lane in Germantown. The suspect shot four or five rounds during a party. No one was hurt.

Armed robbery

*On June 22 at 11:20 p.m., in the 20100 block of Club Hill Drive in Germantown. The victim was walking to his residence when he was confronted by two suspects with a handgun. Suspects demanded the victim’s property and fled on foot after obtaining it. Suspect No. 1 was described as a black male, 18-21, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, 140-150 pounds, gun. Suspect No. 2 was described as a black male, 18-21, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, 180-200 pounds, gun.

*On June 16 at 11:50 a.m., in the 18600 block of Nutmeg Place in Germantown. The victims were walking when they noticed a vehicle, occupied by four suspects. The vehicle stopped and the suspects exited and demanded cash. Suspect No. 1 produced a handgun and the victims surrendered their property. The suspects returned to the vehicle and fled. The suspect vehicle was described as a green Mazda 626 with Maryland tags.

*On June 18 at midnight, in the 13500 block of Niagara Falls Court in Germantown. The victims were walking when they were approached by five suspects who demanded money. Suspect No. 2 displayed a handgun. After the suspects obtained cash, they fled. The male suspects, ages 17, 15, 14 and two age 16 were located and arrested nearby.

Homicide

*On June 20, at a park off Midcounty Highway and Middlebrook Road in Germantown. A jogger observed a body and called 9-1-1. Officers responded to find the victim, identified as Rakeimi J. Hardin Jr., deceased. A suspect was arrested on June 21.

Theft⁄purse snatching

*On June 18 at 8:55 p.m., at Owl Run Way and Mateny Road in Germantown. The victim was walking when the two female suspects passed her. The suspects grabbed the victim’s purse and fled.

Vehicle larceny

*19300 block of Breezedale Lane in Germantown, overnight on June 18. Suspects broke the window and removed a GPS system.

*11300 block of Bent Creek Terrace in Germantown, overnight on June 17. Forced entry, GPS taken.

*12500 block of Great Park Circle in Germantown, overnight on June 18. Forced entry, GPS, digital camera taken.

*20100 block of Century Boulevard in Germantown, overnight between June 17 and June 18. Forced entry, personal items taken.

*19300 block of Circle Gate Drive in Germantown, overnight on June 20. Forced entry, GPS taken.

*Parking lot at Middlebrook Road and Father Hurley Boulevard, in Germantown, at 2 p.m. on June 22. No forced entry, cell phone and wallet taken.

*12600 block of Wisteria Drive in Germantown, between 8:40 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. on June 23. No forced entry, GPS taken.

Residential burglary

*21100 block of Tall Cedar Way in Germantown, at 10:05 p.m. on June 17. Attempted forced entry, nothing taken.

*20000 block of Sweet Meadow Lane in Damascus, between 11 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. on June 16. Forced entry, property taken.

*13700 block of Creola Court in Germantown, between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. on June 17. No forced entry, property taken.

*18800 block of Broken Oak Road in Germantown, between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on June 21. Forced entry, property taken.
