Kept the team sharp through the season and primed the Knights for their postseason journey to the Class 2A West Region title.

Hit .431 and won nine games on the mound, a key to the Knights’ title-game run. Will play at Division I Florida International Univ.

nJake Anderson, Glenelg, Sr., INF

Batted .432 and scored 26 runs for the Gladiators, who finished as the Class 2A South Region runner-ups.

nJake Atherly, Middletown, Sr., C

Solid defensive catcher who also helped on the offensive side of things with two homers and 25 RBIs.

nJustin Albright, Catoctin, So., INF

Batted a nifty .457 for the Cougars, totaling 27 base hits.

nMatt Greene, South Carroll, Sr., INF

Talented infielder batted over .400 with two homers 14 RBI and eight doubles and nine stolen bases. Will play at Hagerstown CC.

nGarrett Harrison, South Carroll, Sr., P

Boasted a Monocacy Valley Athletic League best 0.56 ERA during the regular season with five wins and five strikeouts.

nRyan Kassab, Walkersville, Sr., OF

Blasted five home runs and drove in 26 runs with a .371 batting average for the Lions.

nSeth Keyser, Brunswick, Jr. INF

Batted .392 with a total of 31 hits, including three homers and 17 RBI.

nDerek Kohler, Tuscarora, Sr., P

Titans’ ace won seven games, striking out 45 with an ERA of 2.61. Also drove in 19 runs.

nDan Litfin, Liberty, Sr., P

All-Carroll County player won seven games on the mound with an 1.97 ERA, striking out 60. Also batted .353.

nNick Meekins, Tuscarora, Sr., P⁄OF

Batted a .448, leading the MVAL Chesapeake. Also recorded 65 K’s as a pitcher.

nDanny Pfister, Urbana, Sr., C

Swung an ultra-hot bat for the Hawks with a .425 average with 31 base hits, including eight doubles and 20 RBI.

nKurt Voytell, Urbana, Jr., INF

Hit .383 with two homers, 23 RBI, seven doubles and 14 stolen bases for the Chesapeake Conference tri-champions.

nBrady Wilson, Frederick, So., INF

Led the Cadets in hitting with a .418 average and 15 RBI. Was also was the team’s leader in hits (28), doubles (seven), triples and homers (two each).

nFrank Zeir, Thomas Johnson, Jr., P

Spearheaded the Patriots’ pitching staff with six victories while sporting an ERA of 2.05. Also registered 59 strikeouts in a tough conference.

Batted .407 with three home runs for the Cougars.

nCody Blickenstaff, Walk., Jr., INF

Dependable batsman hit .378 with 28 total hits and swiped eight bases.

Collected 14 stolen bases and hit .389 for the Titans.

Collected 14 stolen bases and hit .389 for the Titans.

nPeter Clement, Urbana, Sr., P

Imposing hurler was a key on the hill with four wins and a 2.53 ERA.

nSean Connole, SJCP, Soph., OF

Paced the Vikings with an over .400 batting average.

nEvan Dayhoff, So. Carroll, Sr., OF

Provided a steady bat with a .420 average and 14 RBI.

nBrent DeHaven, Frederick, Jr., INF⁄P

Hit .379 with seven doubles and two triples.

nBranden Kline, Thos. Johnson, So., P

Registered a stingy ERA of 2.17 for the Patriots.

nDanny Miller, Catoctin, Jr., P

Posted five wins on the mound with an ERA of 3.10.

nNathan Miss,Middletown, Jr., P⁄INF

Batted .348 with 15 RBI for the Knights, also had a 1.44 ERA as a hurler.

nJosh Nestor, Thos. Johnson, Sr., P

Won three games for the Patriots and compiled an impressive 1.69 ERA.

nBrian Neuens, Tuscarora, Jr., C

Made the most of his 22 base hits with 22 RBI. Batted a solid 338.

nGarrett Price, Liberty, Sr., C

Skilled defensive catcher also provided spark offensively with a .382 average.

nKyle Sanders, Catoctin, Sr., OF

Batted .412 with two triples , 15 RBI and eight stolen bases.

nVincent Smarrelli, Urbana, Jr., INF

Hit .377 with nine extra-base hits (two homers and seven doubles).

nBrad Thompson, Urbana, Sr., P⁄OF

Also batted .377 while driving in 13 runs. Totaled 26 base hits.

Hit .408 with 29 total base hits for the Gladiators. Also had eight stolen bases.
